How does mometasone-miconazole cream work?
Miconazole-Mometasone contains two different types of medicine.
Miconazole is an azole antifungal that works by preventing the growth of fungi.
Mometasone is a synthetic corticosteroid that exhibits anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and anti-allergic actions
Medicinal uses of Elica or Cream
It is used for infections of the skin by Candida or dermatophytes in which inflammatory and itchy manifestations appear.
It is used for dermatitis and itching associated with fungal infections.
How to use Elica or Cream
Always take this medication exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose is:
Apply a thin layer to the affected skin areas once or twice daily.
Dosages may change under special circumstances, so always follow your doctor or pharmacist's instructions.
If you take more than you should, talk to your doctor or go to the hospital right away.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for your next dose
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for a forgotten dose.
Elica side effects
Although the following side effects are not common to everyone, some patients may complain of:
Burning, itching, stinging and signs of cutaneous atrophy.

How to save Elika or Karim
Store at a temperature below 25°C
Do not put the medicine in the refrigerator
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Store in the original package to protect from moisture.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton/strip/label. The expiration date refers to the last day of the month.
