Heritage
Black seed oil, nigella, can be traced back more than 3,000 years to the ancient Assyrians and Egyptians. The black seed discovered in the tomb of King Tutankhamun, it was said that Queen Nefertiti used its oil to maintain her perfect skin. Nubian Heritage was the brainchild of two New York street vendors. In 1992, fresh out of college and without jobs, Rich and Naima embarked on a mission to produce luxurious natural products from traditional African recipes with clean ingredients. Today, Nubian Heritage offers natural products from authentic folk recipes inspired by ancient world healing philosophies.
