Fusidic acid 20 mg/g cream
Why is fusidic acid used?
Acid is used to treat some types of skin infections caused by bacteria, such as impetigo (blisters and crusts) and infected wounds and burns.
Do not use fusidic acid:
• If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Warnings and precautions:
• Use caution while using this drug near your eyes.
• Do not use for a long period of time. A second infection may occur.
Possible side effects:
Stop using this product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop a rash; Itch; red, blistered, or peeling skin; tightness in the chest or throat; trouble breathing, swallowing, or speaking; Unusual hoarseness or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat. The frequency with which these side effects occur is unknown.
Side effects include:
Mild skin irritation

• Eczema
Other medicines and fusidic acid:
• Tell your doctor about all the medicines you are taking.
How to take fusidic acid:
• For external use only.
• Use this drug as directed by your doctor.
• Wash your hands before use.
• Apply 2-3 times a day.
How to store fusidic acid:
• Store at room temperature from 68 to 77 degrees F (20 to 25 degrees C).
• Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton.
